Monday Musing: Clearing the Way For Truth
A beautiful Monday to you!
We’re connecting here right in the eclipse portal, sandwiched between Saturday’s Solar Eclipse in Libra and October 28th’s Lunar Eclipse in Taurus. If you’re feeling tender or raw, activated and agitated, or even confused and uncertain, just know that it’s all valid right now. We are not meant to have anything “figured out” at this time, we are only asked to “navigate” what’s coming up as the energy of these next two weeks are some of the most potent of the entire year. Take it slowly, give yourself adequate time to rest and recharge, and trust that you are processing some very important revelations and expansions both internally and externally.
The “Lesson” of the week ahead is Cleansing. Eclipses on the South Node (Ketu) as we had on Saturday are often associated with the clearing out of old energy. Any ‘stuckness’ we have been experiencing, any places in our lives where things have gotten too comfortable or even stagnant, are on the chopping block for release and renewal. Ketu arrives to excrete all the things that have ‘bloomed out’ in our lives, from tangible things such as jobs, relationships, and even material possessions, to intangible things like old belief systems, habitual patterns, and projects. Willingly or unwillingly, we must release ways of being that, though they once served very important functions in our lives, are no longer aligned for the direction we are headed. It can be a very painful, visceral process of extraction, but if we’re game, it can be an auspicious time of supreme upleveling. The veil is thin and the waters of transformation are churning beneath us. We are moving from one way of being to the next. This time asks us to be willing to release negativity in all forms, take time to be still, and allow the transformation process to unfold as it may.
On the other side of this lesson lies the Blessing of coming home to the Sacred Truth within each of us. Working with shadow always clears the way for more light to come in. We get to cut away all that is untruthful; all that out of alignment with our personal integrity. What’s left is the union between light and dark, a space that exists above duality into Unity Consciousness. Inner and outer reality converge to determine our path forward, free of all the muck that clogged up the flow. Collectively, though the world is in fierce turmoil, we are blessed with the opportunity to see through the eyes of the Creator the higher order of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’. Through this collective clearing, we experience the correction of injustice both in our personal lives and the global community. The path forward is one that aligns with Universal Law, of peace, integrity, equality and justice.We finally get a glimpse at the people we have always been destined to be.
To support this alchemical journey, look for the glimmers. Look to the beauty of the natural world around you, the light that shines in your loved ones’ eyes, the delicious taste of nectar from a perfectly ripened peach, and the softness of the autumn breeze on your skin, when everything else seems to be in transilience. Find the beauty in the moment. Synchronicities, a flutter in your heart, a magical happenstance, or an inspiring conversation are all markers leading you towards that new way of being. Call it what you may, but these are the breadcrumbs laid by your ancestors, your spirit guides, your future self towards the person you're becoming. Take plenty of time for pause, outside of the burdens of change, to get quiet. This is where the Universe can speak to you. Remember, you are always being guided towards a better life. You need only to look, listen, and lean in.
